What Is Supervised Visitation?
Supervised visitation lets a parent spend time with a child while a trained, neutral monitor is present. The monitor keeps the visit safe and keeps factual notes. For what happens in a visit, see what to expect at your first supervised visit.
What About Safe Exchanges?
If the only challenge is the handoff between parents, a monitored safe exchange may be what you need. A staff member manages the handoff so the parents do not have to meet.
How to Get Started From Henderson
- Start with your court order. All services begin with a court order. It should state the type of service and how much visitation is allowed.
- Contact us. Complete the Parent Intake Form or call (702) 485-1313. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours of your registration.
- Receive your packet. A packet is sent to each party. Complete the questionnaire and schedule your intake appointment.
- Attend your intake interview. Bring the completed questionnaire and a copy of the signed court order. Children may not be present during this time.
- Pay the intake fee. The intake payment is due at your appointment. See our Registration Process page for current details.
