The Therapeutic Solution, Counseling & Consulting.

The Therapeutic Solution focuses primarily on trauma and complex trauma issues. The Therapeutic Solution is a trauma center that provides an array of innovative and evidence-based outpatient mental health services throughout Las Vegas Nevada. The Therapeutic Solutions Behavioral Health Centers and Trauma Services use intervention methods aimed to meet the unique needs of children, adults, and families. We provide a wide variety of specialized in-home and community-based services throughout Nevada. 

Therapies & Services

Thorough physical, psychiatric, and psychological history

Medication evaluation, integrated medicine consultation, pharmaceutical evaluation, and treatment

Group and individual therapy

Biofeedback, neurofeedback, and mindfulness to teach relaxation and skills for coping with stress

Dialectical behavior therapy, which teaches mindfulness, interpersonal skills, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help heal the effects of trauma

Trauma-specific group therapy

Integrative therapies such as yoga and meditation to offer mind-body approaches for healing

Parent-Child Intervention Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for young children with behavioral problems.

Supervised Visitation monitoring visitation between parents and children in protective custody to ensure safe visitation.

Respite Care to provide increased stability in foster care placement

Somatic Therapy room to enhance the connection of mind and body and uses both psychotherapy and physical therapy

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression.

Monique Harris, LCSW

I have been a community advocate and supporter for over 30 years. I have found my passion in helping people create the change they want to see in their lives. Helping individuals transition to the next level of their lives. Are you seeking change? Do you want to feel more whole, happy, and or healthy? Sometimes taking the first step to ask for help is the hardest. Don’t worry I am eager to walk with you on this journey. I enjoy working with motivated individuals and families. My specialty is youth and adolescent. I have been given a gift to help families regain higher levels of functioning and restore or create healthy relationships. I also have a strong proven track record working with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, Domestic Violence, and parenting.

Channel Jones

Channel Jones is a Clinical Social Worker Intern. She obtained her Master’s degree from Eastern Washington University as an Advanced Generalist Social Worker. She is trained in Substance Use Disorder and seeks to provide stability for clients by starting with Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Areas of interest is working with children ages 8-18 and adults of any age who are struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Use and relationships. Channel is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and a Clinician Social Worker Intern (CSWI).

Courtney Makdad

Light is a Doctoral student at Walden University for Clinical Psychology. She obtained her Master’s degree from Walden University for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and focused on trauma-informed approaches. She is EMDR Part I and II trained and seeks to provide stability for clients using holistic approaches. Areas of interest include working with individuals and couples with substance use disorders, a traumatic history, and sexual related issues. Courtney is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (CPCI).

We all need someone to turn to when life gets rough. As a therapist, I can be that “someone” to help empower you as part of your support system. My name is Ms. Delores Carr, and I am duly licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (MFT-Intern) and a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (CPC-Intern).
I have over 15 years of experience working with minors and at-risk youth. I have also had the privilege of working with adults, couples, and families who present with a variety of mental health behaviors and concerns. I am passionate about helping those in need by using tools and skills to help break irrational behaviors and toxic thoughts. I am a firm believer that what you’ve been through does not have to dictate where you’re headed. By lived experience, if this were true, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I have built my life and career around my passion to help others lead meaningful and happy lives. With over 15 years of professional experience in advocacy and social justice-oriented work, I have shifted all of my passion into providing therapeutic services that help my clients move their lives forward, meeting them where they are, and supporting them along their journey. I am Clinical Social Work Intern in the Las Vegas area. I specialize in healing from complex trauma, depression, and anxiety, coping with loss and grief, anger and stress management, interpersonal conflict resolution, cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, and overall symptom management. I have experience working with individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and varying ages. I have a Bachelors’s Degree in Sociology, and a Master’s in Social Work, so I take pride in being connected to the community and having knowledge of supportive services and programs beyond what I am able to offer. Hi my name is Yceychie Fields, LCSW. I have a background in working with a wide variety of people and mental health issues. However, I specialize in working children and families involved in the Child Welfare system. More specifically, my experience include years of management and direct services of this population. I have worked as a Child Protective Services Family Reunification worker, a Program Manager for San Joaquin County’s only Respite Care nursery, and lastly as a Psychotherapist. Some of the mental health issues I’ve worked with include depression disorders, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, Couples Conflicts and many more. My mission is to help others resolve their mental health issues and resume or achieve a higher level of functioning. I enjoy helping others, painting, and listening to music.
