Respite Care for Foster Families

A short-term, licensed break for foster and kinship caregivers — because caring for a child is a 24-hour job, and everyone needs time to recharge.

Overview

What is Respite Care for Foster Families?

Respite care is a special name for a short-term break for caregivers. When you look after someone who requires special attention and maximum demands, it is a 24-hour job — and you need a break from time to time to look after your own needs, too.

Our respite care gives foster and kinship families a safe, caring place to entrust their child for a few hours or a few days. Children are welcomed into a kid-friendly, supervised environment while caregivers rest, attend to responsibilities, or simply recharge.
