Respite Care Visit Procedure
Caregivers can drop the loved one off at our site completing a short informational packet pertaining to any issues or concerns regarding their loved one (ex. allergies, medication, behavioral concerns, etc.).
During a 12-hour day, there will be,
- An hour of behavioral techniques (de escalation techniques, processing group, educational discussion, etc)
- An hour of creative engagement to stimulate the mind and regulate the nervous system (art, music, dance, etc)
- An hour of recreation and free play and
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks
Note: Lunch and dinner are available upon length of stay.
We are open Monday- Friday with openings on Saturday and Sunday upon request. The hours of operation are 07:00 am – 06:00 pm.

Our respite services are open to families who call in directly or who are referred by the Department of Family Services (DFS) with the intention of providing a supportive and safe environment. The children receiving our respite services are provided with engaging activities and therapeutic intervention and educational support.

You Can Extend Your Breaks
For those needing more extended relief, may set up respite care for a few hours, a day, a few days, or a few weeks. Our respite care services are available to foster, kinship, and adoptive families, as well as birth families in need of support. Our services ensures a comprehensive and productive break for parents who need time to recharge.

Parental Well-being and Skills Development
We recognize the importance of not only providing a break for parents but also offering support in developing new parenting strategies. Our services aim to empower parents and caregivers, fostering a nurturing environment at home and in the community.
Parents may gain insight into their children’s diagnosis and develop new skills to reduce behaviors and self-care through TTS Academy.
